Why is the creative arm of our ABC so often depressing
“We were anti-industry, anti-capitalism, anti-advertising, anti-selling, anti-profit, anti-patriotism, anti-monarchy, anti-Empire, anti-police, anti-armed forces, anti-bomb, anti-authority. Almost anything that made the world a freer, safer and more prosperous place, you name it, we were anti it.” Antony Jay Author of " Yes Minister" talking about the atmosphere in the BBC thirty years ago .
The big question for participants and observers and the ABC board in particular . is whether there is any progress or recognition of this stale old highly reactionary position.
How to get out of the hole? - the only way is to go back out,, the way those affected came in. Will the board allow them to keep digging or give someone who doesn't go to the same church, a decent go ?
